The Delta Island N64 Switchless Overclock is compatible with ALL Nintendo 64 consoles.
No modifications to the external casing are required and everything is controlled via your console's Reset button.

The N64 Expansion Pak enables certain games to use higher-res modes which can increase the CPU workload. In those situations, an overclocked CPU may provide smoother performance or reduced slowdowns by giving the system more processing headroom. 

However, results vary by game. Some games are limited more by memory or graphics than they are by the CPU. We are currently testing a list of Expansion pak games to confirm where the overclock provides meaningful improvement. Once testing is complete, we will publish verified results for each game.

How does it work?
Press and hold the "RESET" button to select the desired mode:
Red = Normal mode (93.75MHz)
Green = Overclock mode (125MHz)
The microcontroller's integrated memory stores your last selection for the next restart.
The RESET button remains fully functional; a short press will perform a reset.

No fan updates are needed and this mod has been tested with thermocouple instrumentation in the lab. A two-color LED indicates "Standard" or "Overclock" mode.
